Chrystal and Charity were born into a world of ministry and music. Their parents, Pastor Charles Williams Jr. and Mrs. Cindy Mae Williams, skilled musicians and dedicated leaders, instilled in them a love for God and music at an early age. They are two of three children Charles III, Charity and Chrystal Williams. They grew up singing together at Paradise Temple C.O.G.I.C. on the Southside of St. Louis, Mo.
Their mother, Cindy Mae Williams was a member of The Nunly Sisters, a popular local singing group. Their father, Pastor Charles Williams Jr. is a gifted musician who inspired many other musicians. He also recorded two albums Brother Charles Williams and the Congress Choral Ensemble "Child of the KIng" (1977) and "I Have a Cross to Bear" (1972).
Chystal and Charity's grandparents, Pastor Willie B. Nunley and Virtie Nunley and Deacon Charles Williams Sr. and Mother Baby Rae Williams were pioneers in the church and music. Their grandmother, Virtie Nunley was a powerful and dynamic evangelist who preached with ferverence and helped many people find salvation. Their grandmother, Baby Rae Williams was a reknown guitarist among C.O.G.I.C. members and also inspired many to use their musical talent for the Lord.

Chrystal and Charity made the decision to develop their gift for ministry at an early age. Singing in their church choir, as children, piqued their interest in ministry. Being surrounded by music and a musical family, it was only a matter of time before they branched out in a music ministry of their own.
Chrystal and Charity attended Black's School of Music and became classically trained in piano and music theory. They each learned a second instrument, Chrystal, the acoustic guitar and Charity, the clarinet. They continued to sing in school. They participated in elementary choir, they led their middle school gospel choir, sang in their high school concert choir, college concert choir and gospel choir.
Chrystal and Charity were the co-founders of VICTORY! The Gospel Choir at Harris-Stowe State University. Singing at school led them to competitions, scholarships, singing at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and other grand opportunities.
Chrystal and Charity have worked locally, district wide and internationally with their church. Being proud members of the Church of God In Christ, it was an honor for them to have had the chance to direct, lead and sing with the international mass choir of the Church of God In Christ. In 2008 they were blessed to sing with the installation choir for the inaugural service of Bishop Charles E. Blake, International Bishop of the Church of God In Christ, where Chrystal led the choir's song for the evening.
Chrystal and Charity both graduated from college with honors. After both receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in Education, Chrystal and Charity both became teachers. Chrystal finished her degree in Education with a minor in vocal music. Charity finished her degree in Educaiton with a minor in English. Chrystal teaches first grade and Charity is a high school English teacher. They have both pursued further credentials within their fields and are proud educators, helping students to realize their potential and achieve their dreams. While education is a big part of what's important to them, music has a special place in their hearts. It is God's music that they want to sing and they are more and more grateful, everyday that they have been given the gift of song. They have promised the Lord that their gift would be used for His purpose and they quote, "God has given us the gift, it's only right that we give it back to Him."
